The Merging of Marketing and Technology with Daimler Trucks
How Daimler Trucks is bridging marketing and sales through technology.
Director, Product Marketing
Freightliner Trucks, the current market leader in the class 6-8 truck industry, utilizes cutting-edge technology to deliver easily accessible and interactive product information to its dealer and sales force in real time. One of several tools, the Freightliner Sales Tool app was designed for the iPad and serves as a virtual showroom for every model in the Freightliner Trucks product portfolio, taking the truck purchase experience one step further by providing dealers instant access – via their tablets – to in-depth product information and literature, calculators, and more. Hear more about all of Freightliner’s Sales Tools, including a dealer portal, product comparison tool and social community site, and see them demonstrated live.
Through Daimler’s case study, Mary will share how technology has helped to bridge a gap between sales and marketing and some tips on how your own business can have similar successes.
