Paper has been around for 2,000 years. People love paper because it connects them in so many ways to the important things in life. Something on paper is more meaningful and lasting. Unfortunately, paper also gets a bad rap. The “Think Before You Print” messages at the bottom of emails and “Save a Tree” comments made at copy machines take a toll. News reports about the destruction of the rainforests and corporate cvost cutting cloaked in pro-environmental speak have added to the issue. The truth is paper is a sustainable, renewable, recyclable, plant-based product that has played an essential role in the development of mankind. The Domtar PAPERbecause campaign is an effort to tell this story in a fun, thought provoking and accessible style.
